Andrii Shpilkin

I work in cybersecurity, specializing in application security and DevSecOps. My focus is on helping organizations build secure, compliant (ISO 27001. SOC 2, GDPR etc.) systems through structured analysis, threat modeling, and automation - integrating security seamlessly into the software development lifecycle to enable safe delivery at scale. I am always happy to share my knowledge through various cybersecurity trainings/awareness events or speaking engagements.

Umar Sa'ad

Umar is the IT & Cybersecurity Manager at ANOH Gas Processing Company (AGPC), where he leads enterprise IT, OT/ICS cybersecurity, and infrastructure strategy for a major midstream gas processing facility. He holds a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering, along with a wide set of industry certifications spanning security management (CISM, CEH, SSCP), governance and architecture (ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, TOGAF 9, ITIL), and networking (CCNP). Umar's research sits at the intersection of behavioral science and cybersecurity, applying ideas from game theory, prospect theory, and cognitive bias research to how organizations actually defend themselves, particularly in critical infrastructure and OT/ICS environments. His work has been published in venues including Elsevier's Journal of Network and Computer Applications, Computers and Security, and IEEE Communications Surveys & Tutorials. He is the founder of Anthropos Cyber, a behavioral cybersecurity research and consulting practice, and a long-standing contributor to the Cyber Security Experts Association of Nigeria (CSEAN), where he has held leadership roles and co-founded the ACICA (African Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity Association) framework. Beyond his corporate role, Umar is active in digital security capacity-building across West Africa, working with civil society organizations to strengthen their resilience and responsible use of technology. He is motivated by a simple conviction: that AI and digital tools can meaningfully expand what civil society organizations are able to accomplish — but only if adoption is paired with the security and governance literacy to use them safely and sustainably.
